If you’re reading this, you may not have this problem, but we wanted to address a question that’s come up many times about PHL2035: The Game:
I don’t have a computer in my house or a smartphone. How am I supposed to play?
The quick answer: KEYSPOTS!

This handy map points out the many KEYSPOTs – public computing centers – within the district where you can go to play PHL2035: The Game. Staff will be on hand at the Kingsessing Rec Center KEYSPOT (#3) on three consecutive wednesdays to provide guidance to those less familiar with the internet and computer games.
For those who don’t know, KEYSPOTs are completely free public computing centers located all across the city. It’s a relatively new initiative, and like many new things in Philadelphia, it is awesome. Click on the map above for a handy printable map of the KEYSPOTS sprinkled throughout the University/Southwest District.
We are working to promote PHL2035: The Game at these locations. We are also going to be hosting 3 sessions at the Kingsessing Recreation Center KEYSPOT, centrally located in the rec center building between 49th and 51st streets and Chester and Kingsessing Avenues. These are a great opportunity to come ask questions if you’re not sure how to setup your profile or if you want some ‘experts’ around to give you hints on answers (not that we would do that). These sessions are scheduled for January 30th, February 6th, and February 13th from 2-4pm. Keep in mind: there are only 10 computers at this center, and we will not stop anyone from doing other activities on these computers, so we can’t guarantee you a free space.
